A letter from Principal Yniguez
Hello wonderful Dixie family and friends,
It is my great honor to be the principal of Dixie Canyon Community Charter. I adamantly believe in the importance of partnership between families, friends, community members, and school staff. Together we form the foundational platform for our young students.
We are entrusted with the joyful, and at times difficult, task of educating the next generation of bright minds. Michelangelo Buonarroti once stated, “The greater danger for most of us lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low, and achieving our mark.” My goal is to set high expectations and motivate students to achieve their fullest potential.
It is also my understanding and belief that our attitudes and thoughts shape our behavior. Entering a new school year, it is imperative to maintain a positive attitude about our school, students, parents, and community members. I am grateful for the opportunity to lead and serve this wonderful community. Welcome back and I look forward to having a great school year!
Dixie Canyon Community Charter Principal,
