Drop off your donations at the Dixie Auction table in front of school every Friday at drop off and pick up. Please complete the simple Dixie Auction Form and attach a print out to the item(s).

Before beginning to gather items for your Classroom Baskets, please confirm your theme by Kristy Darnell, Auction Classroom Coordinator. Classroom baskets are usually coordinated by the room parent, if you do not have a room parent contact us.

Dixie’s annual Auction Gala is one of our school’s biggest fundraisers and it’s also a super fun night for Dixie parents to get together!
Meetings are happening now! Let us know what you like to do and we will help make a great fit. There are many ways – big and small – to help. All Dixie parents are invited.

What is the Auction Gala?
One of Dixie’s biggest fundraiser of the year, the Spring Auction Gala has historically been a sit-down dinner with entertainment, raffle, and silent and live auction . It is a large production, which requires a great team to plan the many facets, many volunteers during the planning and for the evening event.
How does the Auction Gala become a reality?
This year, the Auction planning and preparation will consist of “teams or committees” so that each volunteer team/committee can take ownership of the facet they choose to join.
Some teams/committees will require managerial, event-planning and/or production skills.
How can I help?
Volunteers make this event possible! See below breakdown to see where your interest or skill set would be helpful. This is by no means a complete list but a sample of the big facets of the event:
Venue and party planning, decorations, night of the Auction Gala volunteers
Ticket sales and raffle volunteers
Auction items collection, pricing, wrapping, outreach
Sponsor and vendor support and outside Dixie marketing, and much more!
Don’t see anything of interest? There are many more ways to help! Contact us and suggest how you can help! There is a lot of room for fun, creativity and imagination in these roles.
The Annual Auction brings in around $40K to pay for important Dixie programs LAUSD does not pay for.
