Three classes are available after school during September and October. Drawing Lessons Class on Tuesdays, Art Journal Class on Wednesdays and Watercolor Painting Class on Thursdays.
Drawing Lessons Class 6 Weeks
Tuesdays from 2:45 - 3:45pm Grades K-5. Drawing skills not only provide students with a basis for other creative activities like painting, sculpture and printmaking, but also have links to reading, writing and mathematics as well. This class will cover a variety of quick exercises and projects to keep students of all ages engaged while they practice drawing in a realistic manner. ART JOURNAL CLASS 6 Weeks
Wednesdays 2:45pm-3:45pm Grades K-5 Students receive a blank journal and weekly ideas on how to fill it. Older students are encouraged to mix stories with their art, and younger may just focus on words. When students fill their book with finished pages, they receive a new journal. Wednesdays, September 22- October 27, 2010 Cost: $120.00

WATERCOLOR PAINTING CLASS 6 WEEKS
Thursdays from 2:45pm-3:45pm. Grades K-5 Watercolor painting is a fun way to create some very quick but impressive artwork for students of all ages and abilities. Working with liquid paints and quality watercolor paper, students will be guided through a new subject matter each week. Various watercolor painting techniques will be covered. Thursdays, September 23 - October 28, 2010 Cost: $120.00
