After determining if your child falls in the district zone for Dixie Canyon Avenue School, please call or drop by the office to pick up your registration packet. The School's main office number is (818) 784-6283 and the office hours are Mon.- Fri. 7:30am -4:00pm. After you complete the registration packet, please call to arrange a short appointment to review the information and officially register your child(ren).
The LAUSD and the Los Angeles County Health Department regulations require that complete health and immunization records for incoming kindergartners and students new to the district must be presented in written form, and authorized or signed by a public health clinic, health care provider or private doctor before a student can begin attending classes.
There is no grace period: all immunizations must be up-to-date before a youngster can attend school. For additional details, parents/guardians may contact the school or call the LAUSD's School Nursing Services at (213) 763-8374 (check on number).
