FOR WORKING PARENTS: Time may be tight, hours long, but here are a few quick ways to help your kid's school.
Teacher Wish Lists: Donate school supplies to your teacher every time they ask
Restaurant Nights: Go to dinner with the family on our Dixie Restaurant nights and the school profits directly.
Attend PTA Meetings

Buy SCRIP/eSCRIP
In front of Dixie every Thursday morning (starting September 22, 2010)
Purchase $100 of scrip gift certificates/cards for Macy's, Starbuck's, Best Buy, and many other retailers, and you will receive the same amount in gift cards for that particular store. These stores give back a percentage of the gift card's face value (from 1-20%) to Dixie Canyon. The money accrued is awarded to our teachers for classroom supplies throughout the year. Last year, every teacher received $300 which was used directly for classroom supplies. Remember, SCRIP costs you absolutely nothing extra! Restaurant Nights

Many of the local restaurants generously give to Dixie throughout the year. Many of the restaurants also set up special "Restaurant Nights" with Dixie and donate 15% of your lunch or dinner bill to Dixie Canyon when you dine on the designated day. Just bring the restaurant night flyer that your student brings home from school and tell them you're from Dixie.
Join Target's Take Charge of Education program
As with scrip, 100% of the proceeds we receive go directly to the classroom teachers. Simply shop at Target with your Target card, and Dixie automatically gets a share of the proceeds! Call Target Customer Services at 1-888-755-5856 and tell them you want to sign up for their Take Charge of Education program so you can support your child's school. Westfield Shopping Center (September to January 31)
Westfield's Fashion Square Mall runs a contest between September and January 31st. Dixie gets points for every dollar you spend in the stores and restaurants at Fashion Square. To participate and support Dixie, simply take your receipts from any store or restaurant in the mall to the information desk, show them your receipts and tell them you're with Dixie Canyon. They will stamp your receipts and credit Dixie. You can also get your receipts stamped by leaving them in the Westfield receipts box in the front office. Dixie Canyon has come in 1st Place 2 years in a row! Also, look for Shop For A Cause Day where Dixie gets money for every voucher turned in. Contact Bridget Smith at

RALPH'S Card and Other Local Grocery Stores
Must update every year or it will be discontinued
When you register your RalphsClub card with Dixie Canyon, 4% of all your purchases at Ralphs grocery stores will benefit the teachers of Dixie Canyon AUTOMATICALLY every time you swipe your RalphsClub card. Go to ralphs.com - Community Contribution - Participant, or click here and enter 84643 as the NPO number & your Ralphs Club Card number, then your name (first and last), address, phone number and you will be automatically registered for the program. BoxTops for Education
Earn Cash for Dixie with BoxTops for Education! Keep clipping along the dotted lines. Each one is worth .10 cents for Dixie Canyon PTA. Drop Off in BOXTOPS BOX CONTAINER located in the Main Office. We'll send them to General Mills & they'll send us a check worth .10 cents for every boxtop! First, go to BoxTops4Education and sign up for the BoxTops Booster Club, which earns PTA .50 for each entry. Next, collect your General Mills boxtops and return them to school in the BOXTOPS COLLECTION BOX in the front office. PTA for Dixie will do the rest. Recycle Tuesdays
Bring in your cans and plastic bottles for recycling and the money goes directly to PTA. Collection bins are located in the front of the school. Volunteers Needed.
