Customize A Tile
There's a cool new way for your child to leave their mark on Dixie for years to come. For $50, your child can come to the art room after school (on a scheduled day) and paint their very own tile, which will be fired and permanently installed on one of the Dixie walls in the very near future. Student Emergency Survival Kits
PTA provides inexpensive pre-made survival kits for purchase because the school district requires that each student have a 3-day survival kit in the case of an emergency such as an earthquake.

Westfield Shopping Center (September to January 31, 2011)
Westfield's Fashion Square Mall runs a contest between September and January 31st. Dixie gets points for every dollar you spend in the stores and restaurants at Fashion Square. To participate and support Dixie, simply take your receipts from any store or restaurant in the mall to the information desk, show them your receipts and tell them you're with Dixie Canyon. They will stamp your reciepts and credit Dixie. You can also get your receipts stamped by leaving them in the Westfield receipts box in the front office. Dixie Canyon has come in first place two (2) years in a row! Also, look for Shop For A Cause Day where Dixie gets money for every voucher turned in. Last year we raised $350 from this program which went directly back to the classroom and toward PE equipment for the play yard.

This exciting day will host music, bouncies, carnival games, rides, local food vendors, raffles, arts and crafts, a variety of local vendors, Halloween festivities and a pumpkin patch. Back by popular demand! This exciting fundraiser will allow you to eat and sell until your heart's content. We have five (5) types of candy bars for you to sell. 50% of the proceeds comes back to Dixie.

Scholastic Book Fair (February 14-18, 2011)
The Book Fair is a wonderful week long reading event that brings the Dixie Canyon community together. Students visit the fair with their classrooms to create wish lists and purchase books. Teachers select books for their classroom library wish lists. Parents, teachers and the community are invited to purchase books for their children, classrooms, libraries or our school library. Giving the gift of reading is a wonderful way to support reading. Cash, checks, debit/credit cards are accepted at the Book Fair. Backlot Party and Auction (May 21, 2011)
Held at CBS Studios Radford Avenue, Studio City. Numerous items are donated for your pleasure. Trips, hotel stays, restaurants, movie/ sports memorabilia, clothing, jewelry, DVD's and many more. Come bid on items well under face-value and support DIXIE. Last year, we raised over $50,000! Adults only with childcare available on the lot. Reserve a table and dance the night away! Staff Appreciation Luncheon (May 6, 2011)
This event gives parents a chance to thank all of our hard-working and deserving staff. PTA provides a catered lunch to thank all of our teachers and staff members.
